Aunt Butchie’s, is a cafe on one side and dining room on the other. The cafe is fun and loud with a partially open kitchen. Breads, cookies, cakes, & pastries line a wall near the main entrance. The opposite side of the cafe has a colorful array of prepared food platters behind a sleek showcase. The dining room has a warm and inviting atmosphere, as well as a full service bar. The dining room accommodates up to 120 people and is available for private parties. Aunt Butchie’s is not only a cafe that offers cakes and coffee and prepared food, but we also have a full restaurant featuring a variety of Italian specialties. This mainstay of Westfield, NJ for the last 38 years delivers quality cuisine and impeccable service. The owner, Stephane Bocket was born in Dunkerque, France. Stephane was the Maitre d'Hotel for 12 years before purchasing Chez Catherine in 2016. His career spans many years at Alain Ducasse's restaurants in NYC and France and before that in a number of other restaurants throughout France.The Chef de Cuisine is Christine Migton. Christine graduated from the Culinary Institute of America. Her dishes revisit traditional French cuisine but use different flavors and tastes. She works to provide lighter and healthier ingredients wherever possible while maintaining that special French touch.

A few work colleagues and I went for a nice dinner. They had a live performer, and the ambiance and aesthetic of the restaurant were so nice. Food was cooked to perfection. I will definitely be back.
