Aunt Butchie’s, is a cafe on one side and dining room on the other. The cafe is fun and loud with a partially open kitchen. Breads, cookies, cakes, & pastries line a wall near the main entrance. The opposite side of the cafe has a colorful array of prepared food platters behind a sleek showcase. The dining room has a warm and inviting atmosphere, as well as a full service bar. The dining room accommodates up to 120 people and is available for private parties. Aunt Butchie’s is not only a cafe that offers cakes and coffee and prepared food, but we also have a full restaurant featuring a variety of Italian specialties. Here at Salt, we are creating a modern oyster bar with a hip vibe serving up a large variety of fresh local oysters, as well as oysters from around the US.     Good friends recently moved to Somerset NJ, requiring us to come up with a place to dine ---what a find! Frog and Peach is perfect: great food, service and relaxed ambience. Tucked away in the middle of "Georgetown" type new condos, this oasis has an interesting, unusual menu -- including a seasonal price fix $78 that looks great -- right now, it was a "Southern" menu with hush puppies, BBQ etc that is not to our liking. Special appie Veggie Raviolo was terrific, as was the freshly baked bread on- site. Caccio e Pepe was ok, but could have been more "saucy" and peppery for me, and a bit less al dente. Duck was delicious. We realized that New Brunswick is only a short ride from Somerset and plan to return for their well-known brunch!

    Amazing food as always. Come here all the time and feel like family when I walk in. From the manager to the waiters everyone is kind and friendly and they make you feel at home. The food is always good and has been consistently so for years. If anything it’s gotten better! I wanted to write this review to make sure I gave credit to this wonderfully run establishment. The meal we had Friday night might’ve been the best yet. Ordered the Nonna Pizza and The Calabrian chicken to share with my wife. The pizza was phenomenal and the chicken was unbelievable. I will dream about this chicken. Crispy spicy cheesy and delicious. And what a sauce! Almost a like a vodka with Real Calabrian peppers in it and when they say it’s spicy it actually is not like some watered down places that exaggerate. It’s crispy chicken with melted fresh mozz served over Al dente rigatoni in that wonderful sauce. Perfection!
