Reservations are available four weeks in advance for parties of 1 to 4 guests. For parties larger than this, please email info@blackaxemangal.comWe keep a few spaces free for walk-ins as first come first served.We serve an A La Carte menu which is published on our Instagram @fkablackaxemangal. Limited numbers of new and old fave dishes will be available to add to your meal each night. Canto 73 is a Supper Club in Islington, come and visit us in our new permanent location 43 Newington Green, n16 9PX.Every Friday and Saturday at 19:30 we host a single sitting Supper Club, an evening of delicious food and wine focusing on seasonal ingredients from independent producers. The Supper Club is a casual but special evening of seven courses for £60 a head, enjoyed in an intimate setting where we take all decision making from you allowing you to spend proper time with friends and family. We also offer a wine pairing (four glasses of lovely low intervention wines) for £25 a head.     Party of 2 Sitted at 8pm The restaurant is a true London gem and a unique experience for everyone that dares to trie unconventional ingredients. Heavily inspired by St John plate structures but with genius twists, you find things on the menu that, I can guarantee you will not see anywhere else. Wine list is extensive and changes all the time with low intervention wines. Also the cocktail and beers menu was a huge surprise as they served KEO from Cyprus which is a very pure and old-school lager, that you do not see in menus often. Now when it comes to food, what really stood out was the fried chicken and the flatbreads. We ordered every flatbread on the menu and I can say, the squid ink and egg yold one, accompanied with the story of how the chef was trying to show off the first time he made it, makes it an even more remarkable dish. Also a must try for those who dare is the Lamb Offal flatbread and Bone Marrow & Oxtail, Ox Heart, anchovy and parsley. The desert with the deep fried apple pie and Jameson ice cream its truly remarkable. Only caveat for some, is that the place is too small and you end up dining with the tables next to you. Which I personally dont mind. Recommended 100%
