Designated historical, 740 is one of Colorado's two oldest remaining saloons; transformed back to its 1904 roots; a traditional American dining saloon with a turn of the century ambiance featuring a magnificent room dominating bar, built in 1880 by the Brunswick Company,. The copper spit trough, once equipped with running water, still exists at the front of the bar. Louisville, notorious for its drinking, gambling, and illegal activities, evidence of the occasional misunderstanding is the .22 caliber bullet hole in the front bar. The bar offers a selection of craft beers, wines, handcrafted cocktails and an extensive craft bourbon selection.Dinner Tue. thru Sat. Honoring her Italian heritage and embracing her passion for food and hospitality, Spanu’s philosophy is to have a dining experience that stimulates all senses by incorporating visual art, design, music, premier service, comfortable seating and fresh, authentic Italian cuisine. The space, an Art Deco inspiration, was conceptualized and built by architect Miguel Quismondo.Stella's is showcasing a world-class menu, highlighting traditions from all over Italy, with house-made pastas with imported ingredients directly from Italy, and locally sourced ingredients from Colorado farms. Owner Greg Carelli with help from his father Gene wanted to offer guests authentic Italian cuisine in a contemporary setting that features a large open flame fireplace, mosaic tiles, natural Birch woods, and warm lighting. An appetizer of fresh mozzarella and Beefsteak tomato caprese, lightly breaded calamari or lamb artichoke meatballs will please the palate at Carelli's. Guests can dine on baked jumbo shells stuffed with spinach and ricotta , the classic chicken parmigiana or shrimp scampi. Artisanal pizza, calzones, and paninis. Awsome Gluten-free options are also available. Carelli's was the winner of the Daily Camera Reader's Choice 2002-2020 award for Best Italian Restaurant and ambiance. 740 Front has been a favorite for years but we moved 40 miles north and only dine when in the area. Quality and service remain fantastic and the menu still features many long-time specialties. Worth the drive, worth your time, and worth the price. You will be surprised and delighted

A culinary adventure and exciting mystery at Flagstaff House! They helped make the birthday celebration very memorable for us and included a lovely personalized note and birthday wishes. The food was incredible and paired exceptionally well with the wine. There was even a crafty “blind wine tasting” that was thrilling to try to guess the wine. The four stars out of five was simply because there were a few items that we generally don’t eat on a regular basis that couldn’t be modified out of the chef’s tasting menu. However, It’s good to try new things and we loved the overall experience.

The Barrachi wine pairings with Chef Simone's delicious food was wonderful. The service was excellent and the evening was relaxing and totally enjoyable. The evening was well organized and the music at the right sound level. My spouse and I could have a quiet conversation and we enjoyed each serving. Well done Stella's Cucina.
