Pietramala is a little restaurant located in Northern Liberties celebrating plants, wood-fire cooking and seasonality. We offer a small, regularly changing menu based on the highest quality, organic ingredients grown or made with care in Pennsylvania and the Mid-Atlantic. Our Italian leaning, but globally inspired food is always presented simply with familiar flavors achieved in creative new ways. Often touched by fire, smoke or fermentation to unlock unique flavors, our dishes sometimes require days or even months of preparation. We pride ourselves on our open kitchen, where our wood-fired hearth takes center stage, and our commitment to friendly service and warm hospitality in an intimate, but lively atmosphere. Located in University City, Louie Louie is an American bistro with a French inspired menu offering seasonal, ingredient-inspired dishes based on a classical combination of flavors. House-made pastries and an extensive beverage program highlighting wines by the glass and bottle as well as seasonal specialty cocktails and craft beers add to the dining experience. The décor pays homage to Art Nouveau and European cafes with a touch of the 1970s. Traditional wood tones, reclaimed subway tiles, tried and true black and white marble stones as flooring and wainscoting and blue and buttery leathers, fabrics and patterns bring color and graphic identities to the space. The Lounge offers custom lux seating, perfect for gathering with friends for cocktails and snacks. Outdoor seating reminiscent of French cafes is the ideal spot for dining and people watching.

    Perfect Valentine’s dinner. Service was incredible, always there when needed yet had plenty of privacy. We had a table outside which was beautiful and felt magical. The heaters made it feel cozy and they also provided blankets for our laps. Started with the cheese board which was delicious. A wide variety of cheeses all that were balanced in flavor and texture. I then had the salmon that was perfectly cooked, crispy skin with tender meat underneath. My husband had the pork belly which he thoroughly enjoyed. The cocktail (I had the Sicilian with vodka) was expertly prepare and my glass of Chardonnay at dinner was also very good. We have been to Talula’s Garden many times and have also had wonderful meals and service. One of my favorite restaurants in the city.

    This place was wonderful. We had a sweet valentines day dinner. The decor was so beautiful. The musis was Great. We ordered 4 dishes to sharr and a brownie dessert. Everything was delicious! Vegan restaurants habe grown and thos one SHINES! Lots of cozy places to enjoy the decor. I want wait to go again and sit in the front on the couch as people stroll by. Im trying the bread pudding dessert next and 4 new dishes. The chefs know flavors. The curry carrots?!??! Mushroom sliders!!! PESTO gnocci...as a vegan i havent had pesto in a while! Im trying the flatbread and edemamr wontons next
