Chef and owner Joel Gilbert decided after years of searching for the perfect location that he was going to begin his journey with his first brick and mortar restaurant on the most Northern Point of Forest Lake, in Lake Zurich Illinois. We dined in the bar area at one of the high top tables next to the outdoor enclosed heated patio. Enjoyed the fireplaces and heaters with the open air. Decided to try their early dinner Pork chop special and you couldn’t go wrong! It was such a large portion and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the early dining option and will definitely be back!

Very pleasant dining experience! Our waitress with her service robot was sweet and attentive! Unexpected appetizer on the house was a nice surprise! Food was delicious and nicely presented. Not one of our sushi rolls for our party of 7 fell apart!!

Nirvana is a local treasure! Food is excellent at a reasonable price. The wine flight special was such a great experience - being able to taste 3 wines while enjoying dinner was fun. The live music was an added pleasure. The musician played lovely music at low volumes to add to a cozy atmosphere
