Higher Ground is a bistro and bar located in Manchester city centre that focuses on seasonality within the UK using produce sourced from local suppliers and producers. The restaurant is open Wed-Sat at dinner and Thurs-Sat lunch.     We came here for my mother in law’s 60th birthday meal and everything from start until finish was perfect! Food was flawless, service was excellent and they even brought out a cake with a candle on for her birthday! Pricing was good for the portion sizes and the ambiance, very good value for money. We will definitely go back here and will recommend to everyone coming to Manchester. Thank you Cibo

    The food was amazing. Best steak and ale pie my husband has ever had. The french onion soup was so flavourful. The staff were so lovely and friendly. Would highly recommend a visit.

    I went to celebrate my birthday with friends and family. Lovely food and surroundings. Our waitress Michaela couldn’t do enough for our table. She was friendly and helpful and even took time out to organise a beautiful little birthday cake. Thank you Michaela you made my birthday extra special. I will definitely be visiting again

    Very friendly, helpful and efficient service in a pleasant venue at the intersection of almost traffic free streets. A fine variety of skilfully produced small dishes from a (sensibly) fairly limited menu. All the dishes were very well done, some exceptionally so. We had beer but the wine list looked interesting. It all made for a very enjoyable lunch.
