Beautiful old building and friendly greeting upon arrival. Shown to our table in the busy restaurant and service was very good. Friendly staff and fantastic food. Everything appeared to be homemade which was really lovely. This place delivered! Only negative was we were seated upstairs near the corridor where the door is so it was cold. We used to come regularly in the middle of winter for Sunday roasts. £2.0o a head in those days but it was 45 years ago!!
