Pho is a healthy Vietnamese restaurant that specialise in pho noodle soup, the national dish of Vietnam. Aside from pho, you can also expect to find amazing sharing starters, healthy salads, hearty rice bowls and decadent curries. They have a range of freshly made juices and also Vietnamese beers and a large wine and cocktail list. Pho’s menu is 40% vegan and nearly entirely gluten-free too. Beautifully arranged over three floors, Bohemia delivers a full lunch and dinner menu that includes both large main dishes as well as small tapas-style plates and sharing boards. We are proud to say that all of our dishes, sauces and recipes are freshly produced in-house by our team.There are many seated areas within Bohemia’s quirky interior, including The Library and The Snug. For the warmer months, guests may be seated at the front of the venue, where they can take in Brighton in the heart of The Lanes where tables and chairs sit on the historic cobbled streets. We started Fatto a Mano in Brighton in 2015, serving authentic and affordable Neapolitan pizza, made with fresh ingredients, in a friendly environment. For us, everything starts with our dough. Soft and pillowy, our pizza dough is made fresh every day, using only the best Italian 00 flour, salt, water and yeast. We let our dough prove for at least 24 hours – the slow proving means we’re able to use minimal quantities of yeast, so our pizzas are light and easily digestible. We use carefully selected Italian and local British ingredients from a handful of small, independent suppliers to top our pizzas. Finally, our pizzaioli cook the pizzas in our oven at about 450 degrees, for no more than 90 seconds, in true Neapolitan style.

We're proud to say that Brighton was the second ever Bill's, and whilst it's no longer a bus depot (spoiler, it used to be a bus depot), it still transports you to the good times. Oh, and it's only up the road from the seafront, so there's no excuse to miss it, even if you get lost in the Lanes.

Overall the food was good. We had the small plates. The beetroot salad and chantilly carrots were delicious. The crispy cauliflower was disappointing as it was soaked in a sauce resulting in it being soggy rather than crispy. The major dissappointment however was the ambience. We were seated in the area near the bar where there was an excessive use of spotlights so it felt like an interrogation bay. Had we gone on another evening when less busy, we would have asked to be moved.
