We will serve breakfast sandwiches 10am-12pm daily, Lunch Monday -Saturday 12-3pm and Dinner 5.30-9pm, on Sunday food hours are 12.5.30pm and drinks only in the evening. Roe is a modern and spacious restaurant in the heart of Wood Wharf from the trio behind the critically-acclaimed sister restaurant Fallow St James’s and FOWL.The extensive a la carte menu is divided into nibbles and flatbreads, skewers and grilled options, with larger plates and sides also available. As well as championing modest, British ingredients, Roe’s dishes showcase underused and underappreciated produce.     Recently went to the Hare & Billet for a lovely roast, was excited to see they offer a vegan wellington roast as an option online. However was disappointed upon learning that it’s no longer an option and had been taken off the menu when we were getting our orders taken. Luckily we had a fantastic server, Nathaniel who went above and beyond to offer options so that I could still enjoy the roast that I’d be looking forward too with a few tweaks here and there. Ended up having a lovely meal regardless! Thank you, Nathaniel & chefs at the Hare & Billet!

    Nice environment. Familiar menu. Great service but some elements more expensive than expected including an expected change to the "main" size of the steak tartare. Previously main size was larger. Now main size is starter size with chips.

    Excellent service from the staff, friendly and cheerful. The food was wonderful and dessert was to die for. Would recommend a Sunday lunch there.

    The Chancery delivers yet again. Sunday lunch with family including my 93 year old father in his wheelchair. The guys working there were all beyond helpful and attentive and wanting to ensure we had a great experience, which we did. We sat outside as it’s quieter for my father (his hearing aid picks up every background noise especially indoors in a crowded room) and again we were more than well looked after. This is one of the many reasons why my brother and I bring our father here at least once a week. It’s simply his favourite place to eat out. Keep doing everything you do.
