You’ll find Plate at No. 6 down a cobbled lane in the heart of Windsor, nestled amongst the pubs and boutiques of the old town. Good parking availability. Friendly staff and they know their food, which they can explain what the dishes are. Very good service, staff kept checking and make sure your water are topped up. Good quality food, definitely enough for a normal person. Tried the fish and chips and it was perfectly cooked.

After a bit of a disaster the previous week (documented below), Aly the area manager rang me up the next day to apologise, and ordered to put the situation right That he certainly did, we had an amazing meal, all the food was as excellent as it should be, with great service. Delighted with our experience, and how important it was to Aly that we enjoyed ourselves. The cheese board was the stand out hit, a work of art , but all our dishes were great (mainly vegetarian, and the chicken kebab), Will be back when the new menu arrives

Four of us in for lunch and every dish was excellent. Venison sausages, cheese and bacon burger and a Thai chicken green curry. Two of us had the brioche bread & butter pudding. With drinks and coffees plus tip it was £37.50 per head which was good value. Service was very good, friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere was just right for a Saturday afternoon, relaxed and the sound of people chatting and enjoying themselves.
