The cosy fireside bar offers the unique ambience of our historic inn, along with traditional ales, lagers and an extensive wine and drinks list.Whether you are after a light bite, a meal with friends, or sharing a family celebration our oak-panelled restaurant or relaxed lounge provides the perfect setting. Our head chef sources local and seasonal ingredients to deliver fresh, traditional and contemporary dishes for all tastes and dietary requirements. Children are welcomed and can choose from their own seasonal menu. In warmer months, our sheltered courtyard garden enjoys the full midday sun. The small central courtyard is also available to book by request and offers a lovely private table. Balmy afternoons and evenings will find the front terrace full of diners and drinkers, enjoying the perfect spot for sundowners and watching the world go by.

    Absolutely fantastic experience. Setting very nice and calm atmosphere. Service very good, food amazing including extra roast potatoes, carrots and cauliflower cheese as part of unlimited Sunday roast. We will definitely return and recommend.

    Good value. The staff were attentive and friendly. It was a lovely meal. Sometimes we felt a little rushed but it was a very busy night for them. Great wine and a really good choice on the menu. Could have more vegetarian options. The restaurant was a little noisy and interrupted a little by people coming in and saying hello to friends dining. So slightly more of a cafe feel than a restaurant but very nice all the same. Probably go for lunch there some time soon.

    I had one of my best ever meals at this restaurant 4 years ago, and it is amazing to know that things are still going strong. The food last night was amazing. The menu was wonderful and it feels very special to have something like this in our local community. If you haven't been already, give it a whirl!

    This is the second time we have visited for lunch, and one again 5 star, the service and menus were excellent. We would book more often but we live 50 minutes to the north,and the guest we meet are driving 50 minutes from the southwest. Will definitely book again ina couple of months

    One of our favourite spots in Godalming. Great tasting food, consistent and attentive staff right in the town centre. A great spot for families especially on a Sunday when they have a kids' craft table. It is always a good day out at the Fox and Finch.
