You’ll find Plate at No. 6 down a cobbled lane in the heart of Windsor, nestled amongst the pubs and boutiques of the old town. We are a tapas restaurant, drawing upon the culinary riches of the Mediterranean Basin; our plates reflect the diversity of cuisines found in Spain, Turkey, France, Morocco, Italy, Greece and Lebanon. All our dishes are created by our head chef Olindo who draws on these inspirations his signature dishes including a seafood gnocchi.The open kitchen and lime wash walls define the chic, intimate dining space of Plate at No.6. After a bit of a disaster the previous week (documented below), Aly the area manager rang me up the next day to apologise, and ordered to put the situation right That he certainly did, we had an amazing meal, all the food was as excellent as it should be, with great service. Delighted with our experience, and how important it was to Aly that we enjoyed ourselves. The cheese board was the stand out hit, a work of art , but all our dishes were great (mainly vegetarian, and the chicken kebab), Will be back when the new menu arrives

Amazing food at The White Oak, a nicely refurnished pub, only lacking a roaring fire on a freezing cold night. The main fish fish was sublime and the chocolate mousse was perfectly balanced and flavoured. Really friendly and attentive service topped it off; we’ll definitely be back!

Dining with girl friends on a Wednesday night so not busy. Excellent food. Great service but not too intrusive. I had three courses and finished them all which I never normally do. I'd recommend it for small or large groups. We will definitely be going back.
