Thoroughly enjoyed the cod with crab sauce. The bean & bacon broth was a bit salty for my taste but I suppose that's the bacon. My friend enjoyed her crab, which I've had before (though why crab has to come from Dorset when it's such a local delicacy we don't understand). I do miss the specials that used to be on the board - there was a new fish dish every time I came and all were excellent.

Superb birthday lunch. We had a fantastic server and amazing food and drinks. Will definitely be back

A total surprise hidden gem. The food is outstanding! Tucked away in Ancoats has a lovely stylish interior and does this best arancini!! The pork cheek is delicious and we had the Primitivo wine which was lovely. Highly recommend

Light lunch with a pint and a half of the Pale (presume made by Timothy Taylor?) Crab soup delicious as ever. Kipper very fresh and beautifully cooked and the crab toast with jalapeños was good too.
