The 1867 is the renowned licensed eatery, for a treat, located at Heart of The Shires Shopping Village on the A5, just north of Weedon, in the beautiful county of Northamptonshire.Surrounded by beautiful countryside in the centre of England with lots of lovely boutique shops too! We have many guests who conveniently meet here at the 1867 with friends, family and business associates from all over the country and indeed abroad. Well behave dogs are very welcome with water and treats on arrival.We are open from 9.30am for breakfast, every day, including bank holidays ( with exception to Christmas Day and Boxing Day ).Our popular Afternoon Tea offering is available from 2pm until 5pm – please pre-book with any specific dietary requirements.Our crew genuinely want you to leave our eatery ‘feeling better than you came in’ and we will do our upmost to make this happen. Welcome to The Greyhound, a 17th century coaching inn, in the heart of Beaconsfield Old Town.Owned and managed by husband and wife team, Daniel Crump and Margriet Vandezande-Crump, the pub and restaurant was named as the ‘One to Watch in the UK’s prestigious Top 50 Gastropubs Awards, named a TripAdvisor 2021 Travellers’ Choice Award Winner, and voted the best restaurant in Bucks & Oxon by guests in the annual Muddy Stilettos awards. The Greyhound is made up of 3 key areas for guests to enjoy: an intimate drinking lounge and outside drinking terrace, the main restaurant for dining (upstairs and downstairs), and an outdoor covered and heated dining terrace. The different menus showcase a commitment to using the best seasonal British produce available. The Greyhound also stocks a diverse wine list, developed by Margriet, who is a certified sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers, as well as a wide range of international beers.

Dining at Centurion Club is a warm, welcoming and elegant setting to enjoy seasonal British flavours. Diners can enjoy the relaxed ambiance of the main restaurant, have a drink out on the terrace or Lounge Bar, or book one of the private dining rooms for an intimate gathering. These rooms accommodate up to 38 diners.There are a seelction of menus available in the restaurant including a la Carte, Sunday Roast, Prix Fixe and Afternoon Tea all prepared to perfection by Head Chef, Calvin Hill and his team of chefs.

We had a wonderful meal for my father’s 85th birthday. He throughly enjoyed his lunch plus the special extra touches that made his day special. One of the highlights was the ‘scone’ with Jam and cream. My parents - both Cornish (born there and now live there!) raised some debate and laughter! Staff are attentive and the food was delicious.
