Absolutely lovely place and food was exquisite. You could see how popular the place was because of the que. My daughter knew this place from living in Bath so it came with good reviews. I treated my sister to a birthday afternoon tea. We had to take some home in a box. My sister eats gluten free and hers was just as nice as mine. Can’t wait to go back.

What an experience, travelled over to Cardiff from Bristol just for this. First time for my wife and I and we were not disappointed. The food and atmosphere etc were amazing. The only thing that let it down was we seemed to be rushed. We savored our "small plates" meal and as soon as we finished them, our main courses were delivered even before our table had been cleared of our "small plates". I know this was a small thing, but it did detract a bit from our experience, hence not giving a full 5 star review across the board.

I had intended to book the restaurant next door: The Ivy Asia. But I accidentally booked this place. Fantastic! So glad I did. They do a very good Bang Bang Chicken starter at The Ivy motherhouse in London but the Bang Bang Chicken skewers I had here were even better. We dined at the counter and had the most excellent service, fantastic food, and splendid wines and cocktails. The music was a bit weird but, otherwise, great night.

Made to feel welcome as you walked in taken to your table which was beautifully set out and the afternoon tea was amazing

Lovely food. We waited ages for water so eventually had to go and ask for it as one of our party wasn’t drinking and that was his beverage choice but other than that it was all good.
