Lovely meal and such friendly service. Beautiful building! Very accommodating with our baby as well which is great as you don't always know what to expect when bringing a baby out with you but staff and facilities were great!

Lovely relaxed valentines meal , I had the Barnsley chop was melt in the mouth so beautiful , my partner had steak and ribs he said they were the nicest he’d ever had , roaring log fire what else is there to love x

The food is lovely but the price can be a little on the high side - £14 or so for three crispy mussels and a bit of stonebass seemed a bit over the top for a starter but it was very, very good and we were looking for something a bit special. On the whole, it was a very, very positive experience. It was a return visit, and we will go back.

Delicious food, generous 'small' plates and good choice for all dietary requirements. Table was spacious which was great when we were sharing plates. We have already been planning our return.

Peerless in the local area. Food superb, some amazing dishes which were all good. From chicken pie to steak, risotto, chicken parfait to tarts tatin all superb Local bar also part of the pub restaurant which was nice to see. Only negative was one of the bar proper uppers decided it was ok to vape at the bar - pretty disgusting and staff seemed accepting of this as most diners had left at that point .
