Chateau-X has quite the story, born out of lockdown, we took a luxurious chateaubriand experience to homes across the UK.Growing our offering throughout lockdown saw demand for us to increase so much, we knew we couldn't stop when life resumed to the 'new normal'.That brings us to today, Chateau-X in Finnieston, our first official restaurant, home to our luxurious Chateaubriand experience, for a reasonable price. Food was exceptional. Starters of soup & smoked salmon both delicious followe by perfectly cooked Chateaubriand which was outstanding & sides very tasty too. Not cheap but quaity food & service. Each member of staff was polite, courteous & extremely helpful offering all menus available & explaing how menus worked.

Food was excellent! We were sat downstairs which was a bit more intimate than upstairs. Service very speedy and excellent. Although when booking it says table is for 1.5 hours, when seated we were told it would only be for an hour, now don't get me wrong food was out very quick and still was better than other steak places, but had we had a starter, would we have been kicked out? We only just finished mains and a desert within the hour🤷‍♀️ this should have been stated at time of booking. But also an hour doesn't really seem enough if you want to relax and take your time on your 3 courses. All the servers were excellent and could not fault anything else.
