Upstairs at Landrace is a casual neighbourhood bar & bistro, our food is led by ingredients which are carefully sourced from local farms and market gardens, we work with producers who have a natural approach to growing and use regenerative, high welfare farming techniques. The menu regularly features handmade pasta, line-caught Cornish fish and meat from Haye Farm in Devon, and Huntsham Farm in Herefordshire.You can join us for a quick plate of pasta at lunchtime or a longer celebratory meal with friends & family in the evening. Our menu changes regularly, you can find sample menus updated weekly on our website.The wine/cider list changes regularly, focusing on small European growers and makers. All our wines have been made following low intervention organic/biodynamic practices. We also pour many local naturally made ciders and perrys. Our soft drinks are made in house showcasing seasonal cordials, and aperitif/digestif offerings can bookend your meal if desired.

We are located on the beautiful Argyle Street just over Pulteney Bridge and our smaller dining room, which can also be booked for private dining, overlooks Pulteney Weir. We have a carefully chosen wine list and an interesting selection of drinks. Bookings of 5-6 will be seated either in our Main Restaurant or Private Dining Room.     Exquisite lunch at Landrace as usual! Delicious small plates to share - the cheese fritters are always a must but today really enjoyed the boquerones and Devon crab on toast. The Cantabrian boquerones were so tasty in a luxurious olive oil - perfect on the Landrace bread! Thank you!

    This was our third visit to Chez Dominique and our best. This time we were able to share it with friends which made it even more special. It also meant I had the chance to sample the Chateaubriand which was simply wonderful. Not going to go through all the food in detail because, Chateaubriand apart, it will be different when you go. It's wonderful from the starters to the Languedoc wines. Fantastic.

    We are visiting from the US and my husband found Opa. He loves Greek food. We were not disappointed. Had a wonderful meal. The food, service and ambiance was great. We’d definitely recommend.

    Excellent plentiful food. We ordered 2 starters between 3 of us and it was plenty. Cheesy garlic bread was like a little pizza which was a lovely surprise, loads to go around. Mains were excellent, again plentiful, I just about finished my pizza and it was delicious. Service was superb, including the little shot they gave you at the end. I would definitely go back and definitely recommend to others. Had a lovely carafe of Rose.

    Food good service good. Would go again but watch the receipt. Would have like the option to tip or not, and not be charged 12.5% service charge for 2 people. It should be our choice. We always tip good service but not 12.5%.
