Fiori is a charming and cosy Italian restaurant and floral boutique in the heart of Montrose, led by chef Alessio from Rome. The restaurant is located in a cute two-story building, has a nice patio with lights hanging on the outside and a terrace; massive oak trees surround the building creating an unique atmosphere. The beautifully interior, decorated with fresh flowers, plants and paintings, offers a lovely and light ambience. Fiori focuses on using authentic traditional recipes.     We really dug the vibe. The interior is really stylish. The only thing we thought that was lacking was our particular server’s service. When I requested a second cocktail and asked him to surprise me with something vodka based, he brought a “French 76”, made with vodka instead of gin. Notwithstanding whether or not such a drink exists vis a vis the known “French 75” drink, he should have known that I had JUST finished a French 75, in part because I had the same gin style glass on my table. This is not service I would expect from a Michelin level restaurant (I know this one did not get one, but maybe you are gunning for it), many of which me and my wife have been too, including multiple Three Star restaurants! The waiter should be more aware as being delivered such a drink might be thought of as being lazy or dismissive towards the diner. My wife and I are well prepared to pay large amounts for a top notch dinner as well, and we are more likely to do so when a restaurant succeeds in ALL categories.

    Our waiter provided superb service and allowed us ample time to enjoy our meal. The food was amazing and reminded me of my trip to Florence. The wine selection can’t be beat and all at a great price point. Great restaurant!!
