We weren’t asked if we could get our coats hung up. We waited ages to place our order. We couldn’t change menu to have appetisers from a la carte instead of starters from the xmas menu. We were overcharged by £100!

Overall we really enjoyed our meal, I would say it was fair value and good quality. Our server Geraldine was polite, friendly and attentive throughout, the food was nice, we did have to wait a considerable time for desert, not sure why exactly, it was only a cheesecake, but seemed to take far longer than the main meal. The setting was lovely, Art Deco vibe with a relaxing ambiance, it was quiet due to the time of day (early meal due to an evening engagement) but this suited us, I would definitely go back and would recommend a meal here.

My girlfriend and I went in a date here last night and it was incredible, the drinks were amazing and the waiting and bar staff were all happy for a chat and really seemed to love what they do. If I was to say anything negative it was that the live music made it difficult to have a conversation with my girlfriend sat 2 feet away and as such we had to leave before the 2nd group started rather than stay for more drinks. Other than that, we were each given a glass of Prosecco for the occasion of our date which we really appreciated and we will definitely come back soon

If your wanting to plan a surprise for a partner, friend or family member, i would highly recommend this hotel. The team helped me put together a lovely room surprise for my partner and didn’t disappoint. For dinner, both me and my partner indulged in the beautiful peppercorn steak, the presentation was absolutely fantastic and would definitely recommend the steak. However i would recommend asking for the sauce on the side if your just as fussy as my partner. Once again thank you very much for the experience

We chose the Heights for my sons 18th birthday lunch and we were all extremely impressed. The food and service were both first class and of course the views are second to none. Special mention to Sol for his rendition of Happy Birthday and the birthday plate was greatly appreciated. We shall look forward to our next visit.
