Lovely place to visit, relaxing atmosphere,attentive staff, fantastic food

We really enjoyed our evening. Your staff are fantastic. Chu’s customer service was outstanding. He was excellent and very helpful. He was also extremely attentive. He really made our experience enjoyable. He explained every course so well and was a really lovely server. He made our meal very relaxing and an enjoyable experience. We also then had a drink at the bar and Kuba deserves a special mention for making my partner a special birthday surprise with his drink of dry ice. He was also very knowledgeable on the menu and very helpful and friendly. Thank you for a lovely evening. Your staff are what make the experience worth it even more so than the food and they are invaluable.

We had a wonderful meal for my father’s 85th birthday. He throughly enjoyed his lunch plus the special extra touches that made his day special. One of the highlights was the ‘scone’ with Jam and cream. My parents - both Cornish (born there and now live there!) raised some debate and laughter! Staff are attentive and the food was delicious.

Incredible experience!! From the minute we entered to the moment we left we loved everything. All staff were very helpful and smiling! (Like they enjoy what they do!) The food!! OUT OF THIS WORLD!! We went here for the first time for my son’s 10th birthday and we can’t wait to return!

From the very first bite, it was clear that each plate had been crafted with meticulous attention to detail. It was impossible to pick a favourite dish as every course brought something unique to the table, showcasing a remarkable depth of culinary skill. The service was equally impeccable. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, their knowledge of the dishes and wine pairings enhancing the entire experience. Every interaction felt warm and genuine, creating an atmosphere of relaxed elegance that perfectly complemented the meal. The highlight of the evening, however, was our post-dinner conversation with Chef Aktar Islam. His dedication to his craft and his customers was evident in every word, and it was truly inspiring to hear firsthand about his culinary philosophy. It is rare to encounter a chef so committed to pushing boundaries while maintaining such a profound respect for the origins of his cuisine. Opheem is not just a restaurant; it is an experience—one that transcends dining and enters the realm of art. We left feeling not only satisfied but deeply inspired.
