I had the Veloute of Jerusalem artichoke with a poach hen's egg and I was in heaven, mellow artichoke taste, not too over powering and the mix with the egg was perfect. The main coarse was the fillet steak and is the best fillet steak I have ever eaten. I guess the only gripe is that on some of the main coarses you will have to order extra sides so the cost increases. I had French beans with my steak and they were lovely but the potatoes were dry and some of the food was not piping hot, it came out to us warm but I would still highly recommend it to everyone. As soon as we pointed out the problem with a drink order, it was dealt with swiftly. Food was excellent, with beautiful presentation. No rush to leave the table so plenty of time to chat. Cheeky little complementary limoncello served with the bill too!
