Situated on the High Street of Eton, close to the River Thames and between the historic buildings of Eton College and Windsor Castle, Gilbey's is open from 12 noon for lunch and 6pm for dinner every day.Originally an old butcher's shop, we created one of the first wine bars outside London in 1975 - The Eton Wine Bar. After 25 years of success, we changed the name in 2000 to Gilbey's, having recognised that our food had outgrown the original wine bar concept. He developed his career over 15 years by delivering his passion on the plate. He`s furthered his development by doing an internship in France in one of the most highly reviewed restaurants once owned by Bernard Loiseau.Maria built her career as the Front House Manager working in collaboration with Chef Stelian to deliver excellent customer service by showing continuous care to the customers.Their aim is to deliver high standard food and service for the community suitably for everybody’s taste.
