It is sometimes said that someone has gotten their education from the school of “hard knocks” meaning one born from experience rather than classroom training. Southern cooking is much like that as it is most often learned from family and growing up southern rather than a culinary course.

Situated inside the Lighthouse Hotel in Pacifica, Moonraker serves lunch, dinner and happy hour!A large selection of fresh seafood dots the Moonraker menu with items like Dungeness crab, Chef's selection of oysters and ahi poke. Other options from "the land" include pot roast, steak, chicken parmesan and a vegetarian tagine. The chef makes a lot of the offerings gluten free, like crispy calamari and coconut prawns.
