We had Calamari, which was extremely generous and could have shared one. Then we ordered a sirloin steak at £5 supp. It was delicious, perfectly cooked. Then really excellent Profiteroles. When they brought the bill they had cancelled the supp charge for the steak for the "inconvenience" of choosing our favourite starter!! All the serving staff were extremely pleasant. Such a wonderful array of rolls, quiche, scotch egg, crisps to accompany, you could tell they were specially selected for quality, and a fresh cream scone and jam, summer berries and brownie to finish.
