Massimo's has been a Fremont destination and landmark since opening in 1976. The name Massimo's is not only the middle name of our late founder but also means “great”. The food, service and atmosphere is the passion of owner Bill Rinetti Jr. We strive to create a cuisine that is fresh, seasonal and prepared with great care and also include some of our classical preparations including our Caesar Salad which is made in the dining room. The fare is American with bits of Italian influences. We have been featured on KQED "Check Please Bay Area". Excellent food…appetizer (shrimp), scallops and filet mignon were all excellent as well as the tiramisu dessert. Service was excellent as well. I would have no issues recommending this restaurant to friends and family.

Food was delicious! I particularly liked the fact that they allowed you to eat each course at a leisurely pace with the food being the perfect temperature when served. Everyone from the hostess to the waitstaff was extremely professional. A wonderful dining experience!

really good food and unique location / atmosphere. service was a bit on the slower side but not annoyingly so. acoustics aren't great - glass walls and ceilings - so it's quite loud inside even partially full. a bit on the pricey side for what you get, but it is very well done (and what isn't overpriced in the valley?).

We were promptly greeted and seated. Staff were attentive and helpful. Only hiccup was when we scanned the QR code to pay-unsuccessful after three attempts so our server completed the transaction in the customary manner.
