We started with a few small plates, the squash blossoms were stuffed and perfectly crispy! (And the honeycomb on the side just enhanced the light spice from the jalapeño) For dinner, my husband had the Red Sea Bass with a pesto risotto- his only criticism as he devoured it was he wanted even more of the delicious roasted tomatoes for a pop of acidity :) I had the short ribs with Japanese sweet potato mash… perfection! (And I have no idea why I was given a knife at all, it all just melted in the mouth!) we managed to also try the key lime coconut cake - like the best key lime pie ever! And all of this on Wine Wednesday so we splurged on a pricier bottle - because it was half off! She provided great recommendations. We started with the wild mushroom strudel and oyster Rockefeller, which were delicious. My husband ordered the short rib per Carolyn’s recommendation, and they were melt in your mouth. I had one of the specials which was very good, lots of flavor. We sat outside among the string lights, vintage wine bottles and hanging vines, it was very cute dining atmosphere.
