Porfirio's menu is made up of traditional Mexican dishes that are transformed, reinvented with innovative techniques and bold flavors. In Porfirio's kitchen, there is only room for the best quality ingredients, just what the most demanding palates expect.

Porfirio's hosts a select collection of Tequilas and Mezcals, around 100 labels that can be recommended by our tequiliers to create surprising and captivating pairings with the dishes of our menu.

We had an amazing time at Porfirio’s! The energy throughout the restaurant was lively and the music was great, too. The service was quick and attentive, and the food was incredible. We had a wonderful time and will hopefully be back soon!

Very nice restaurant on the water. They have indoor and outdoor seating options. The surf and turf was delicious.

Our favorite Mexican restaurants in Cancun have moved or closed, so we went to Porfirios. We had been before and had good experiences…not great, but good. We had the avocado salad and chicken enchiladas suiza….all of it was very good. But enchiladas originally arrived cold. Had to send back to have them return warm(er). They still could have been hotter but it wasn’t worth mentioning. Margaritas were also good. Service was trying, but there were so many people it was hard to give personalized service. Very disappointed that we could get real menus…had to order off a QR code which felt like a sports bar or low end food chain. We were offered dessert since our food was cold. The ice cream was delicious, but a little hard to eat out of the table “ice cream truck.” In my opinion this restaurant is more about show than food & service. SO many carts offering table side “food entertainment.” It’s distracting and feels a bit like a circus. Did I mention we were offered scorpions by the “tequila” cart? That was down right bizarre. I think the decor was beautiful and I enjoy the 80’s music vibe. It is a bit louder so if that’s not your thing stick with Harry’s or Fred’s. Much better food and service there too. IMHO

Without a doubt, this was one of the best dining experiences my family and I have ever had. From start to finish, everything was exceptional—impeccable service, incredible food, and an unforgettable atmosphere. Our servers, Alex and Isaac, were outstanding—friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and made the evening so much fun. Alex’s recommendations, especially the seabass and shrimp dishes, were spot on and absolutely delicious. We enjoyed a stunning sunset view, lively music, and a staff that went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The ambiance was just perfect. And the desserts? Incredible! From the creamy ice cream and decadent chocolate cake to the churros, every bite was amazing. To top it all off, they surprised our two birthday girls and the entire family with something special. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Cancun—it’s a must-visit!

Beautiful hostesses and female servers with ample bosoms. Attractive environment and surroundings. Great view of water. Energetic choice of music although a bit too loud. Food mediocre at best. Not especially tasty. Margaritas were weak. Biggest negative was the service. Felt rushed. Server hovered much of the time. Every time there was even a drop of water from condensation of our water glasses or bottle, a young man came over to pick up utensils and wipe the plate area dry. Really? Very annoying. Took dinner plates away as we were still chewing a last bite. Put dessert plates in front of us having not seen dessert menus or asking if we wanted dessert. Three people came by to ask if we were enjoying our meal. Many, many employees moving incessantly around the tables. We got the feeling that it was a showplace and not a pleasant dining experience. Maybe if we would have had a few more highly tequila-laced drinks we would have had a better experience. Shall not return.

Beautiful restaurant. Decor and ambiance was perfect. We had Eduardo as our server and he was amazing. Very tentative and professional. The food was top notch. We had the sea bass and flank steak, which was cooked perfectly. We will definitely come back on our next visit to Cancun! Gracias!!
