Porter's features hand cut steaks and chops, and fresh seafood flown in daily. Our award winning wine list features over 200 bottles from every corner of the wine growing world. Craig, our wine steward, would be happy to help you make a selection that will pair perfectly with your meal.

I hadnt been to Porters in a few years. Surf and turf were excellent and cooked perfectly. Service was wonderful.

Food was editable, but not for the price point. We spent in total 100 dollars a plate. Food quality was ponderosa level. The only reason it's still open is it's attached to a hotel. Doesn't depend on local patrons.

Everything was top notch except for one minor complaint. That is, the plates were not warm and the steaks were just that, maybe warm not hot or at least a little warmer than they were. Will that stop us from going back? No. The food and service was excellent.

My friend / contractor and I have made a steak dinner at Porter's an annual event whenever we attend a conference at the local convention center. The food is always delicious, and for two years running we've had the pleasure of Chris as our server. He is wonderful. We had yet another great talk over a tasty meal. Who could ask for more? Five Stars!

The steak was not impressive at all. New York Strip. Didn't even look like it normally does! Out of baked potatoes by 630. Appetizers were excellent as usual. The soup was delicious. Based on the price and quality of the steak dinner it was rather disappointing. We shared a piece of the carrot cake! Beyond amazing. After dropping 400.00 dollars I think I will be going somewhere else for a steak! Maybe I'll come in for drinks in the bar and appetizers. I did enjoy the bar before dinner! Expresso and Old Fashions.

Porters is one of the finest, yet most under-rated steakhouses in the St. Louis area. People forget about it because it's on the "east side", but I've never been disappointed. If you haven't tried it, take that short drive across the bridge and check it out.
