Afternoon Tea: Pre-booking is required. *Please note bookings must be made in advance, at least 24 hours ahead of reservation. From Monday - Thursday , 14.00 - 16.30, and Friday -Saturday 12.00 - 15.00. Please inform our reception team of any dietary requirements when booking. If you have any food allergies or intolerances, please speak to your waiter before ordering. Please be aware that traces of allergens used in our kitchen may be present.

We booked afternoon tea and unfortunately the quality was not what we expected. The bread was hard and stale. I couldn’t have the salmon due to being pregnant and they replaced it with a plain cream cheese sandwich, no choice on what I would like instead. The cakes were very sweet and I didn’t eat any of them. The saving grace was the scones, which were lovely. You don’t get a lot of food for the price, you obviously are paying for the venue, but I would have expected the food to be quality. The staff were lovely and attentive until we had finished our food and they ushered us to the bar if we wanted to stay Overall I was disappointed with the experience.

Overpriced, poorly cooked food. Servers with zero likability. We felt like the server was constantly encouraging us to drink more champagne & wine. The occasion was a birthday celebration and the tiniest off-cut of dry cake came out. Would not go back

Excellent lunch menu. Florian was a superb waiter who made our experience memorable. Will definitely be back next time we are in Manchester.

Beautiful scenery and a delightful atmosphere! The staff were incredibly welcoming and delivered exceptional service with seamless teamwork. I especially appreciated their ability to strike the perfect balance between allowing me to enjoy my meal undisturbed and attending to me promptly whenever I needed assistance. A special mention goes to Rashid, who was both personable and professional, making the experience even more enjoyable. The three-course meal was delicious, with each dish perfectly prepared. The ambience was just right—relaxing and inviting, complemented by the stunning views. I absolutely love this place and can't wait to visit again.

Great ambience,super customer service. The waiters were superb. It was for my wife’s birthday She loved every moment and she got a cake as well. I will definitely be back

Overall Service was absolutely wonderful, Stu really made it feel like a home kinda comfort. Food service that came across effortlessly warm. Florian served us couldn't have asked for more from a server.

Thoroughly enjoyed Sunday Lunch at 20 Stories. Very friendly welcoming team. Food service was a great pace for me with time between courses (not too long, not rushed, just right) The afternoon was leisurely, we didn't feel any pressure to hurry along. The food was excellent

I recently visited Twenty Stories expecting a refined, bougie dining experience, but was quite disappointed. The atmosphere was unexpectedly loud, with even drunk patrons adding to the noise, which didn’t match the high-end vibe I anticipated. Despite the expensive prices, the portions were tiny, and overall, the experience wasn’t worth the hype. The only good thing was the views of the city.

Very good meal and service. Although noisy in the bar area, it was fine in the restaurant. I was disappointed they wanted a significant service charge to bring our own birthday cake

Excellent afternoon tea experience! Firstly I’d phoned the restaurant the day before our arrival to see if they could tweak the sandwich fillings for my young daughter & sure enough when we received the afternoon tea the chef had accommodated our request & I had a very happy child! Secondly the staff were very friendly & attentive & lovely ambience in the restaurant, it got busier as time went on but without feeling noisy or crowded. Lastly the actual afternoon tea was fantastic, enough selection of lovely savoury treats as well as sweet & all great quality - we left feeling very content! 5 star & would highly recommend! Thanks 20 Stories - we will be back :-)
