                                                                                          This was our first time eating in the restaurant. We actually went to happy hour about a week ago and are we sat at the bar had some drinks and the prime rib sandwich which was really delicious. The restaurant overall was good. The food was great. the salmon was great, the guys loved the fish Nd chips. We did order cosmos. I had asked them to make it again, because there was definitely too much citrus but other than that everything was great. We had a good time and hope to come back again.

                                                                                          Steak Frites was cooked perfectly and so flavorful. The short rib with polenta was so tender. To cap it of the fig old fashioned was great take on the traditional cocktail. We will definitely be back!

                                                                                          The 56 Team does a great job, and this place did not disappoint! Interior was warm and "taverny". Food was very good, with some nice additions to the 56 Kitchen offerings. We'll be back!!

                                                                                          The remodeled dining room is so cozy. I love it. The food was excellent and our waiter was so courteous. Franz pays special attention to the small details. I love the makeover and the bar is one of my favorites. They don’t have my favorite beer selection but I still love it.

                                                                                          Overall great place Sat at a high top in bar by fireplace. Service was phenomenal, always keeping our drinks refreshed. Wife had the short ribs and was so tender and flavorful. I had the prime rib and it could have been a little more tender than it was but the flavor was great. The French kiss salad is enough to split and one of the freshest salads I have had in a long time. Highly recommend !

                                                                                          Prime rib was very good. Salmon was very good. The clam chowder was very good. We didn't like the crab cakes, the inside was very soft. The French onion soup was a bowl of onions very little broth. cheese was not thoroughly melted. Otherwise it was very enjoyable.
