Our tasting menu consists of a series of seafood appetizers, premium sashimi, chawanmushi, sushi nigiri, an 808 signature course, and dessert. All of which are prepared in a modern and fusion style. We do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions and food allergies (which require at least 48 hours of advance notice), but not all dietary request may be accommodated. Tasting menu price is $150 per person, sales tax and tips excluded.

    Food was super good. I loved the tastes and the creativity of the dishes. There were not tons of nigiri that's that heavy, the mixture of different types of dish and flavor was very well balanced. The chef Robert was very friendly, perfection oriented. Staffs were very friendly too. Would highly recommend if you're not looking for "traditional" asian food and like to taste new things.

    Great tasting menu, wonderful servers who explained the food well, and entertaining chef. I'm glad we have this in Foster City! However I recommend sitting at the bar in front of the chef if possible. The tables and chairs are not ergonomic and taller people may have difficulties sitting due to the low tables.

    Had a great experience at 808 zone yesterday. The food was amazing with chef's creative but delicious takes on each course. Chef Robert was also a delight to talk to the whole time. Would definitely revisit soon!

    Exceptional experience. The staff/owners were all amazing. Carol was so lovely and warm. Chef Robert made the experience so personal and interactive and who can forget the desserts from Robert. Attention to detail from what serving pieces were used to the arrangement of ingredients and everything was super fresh. I cannot rave more about this Omakase experience that was just out of this world.

    This was true omikase in that we had an interactive experience sitting at the bar. Robert, our chef, is super engaging. He explained the dishes but also asked for feedback.i highly recommended giving them a try. Would go regularly to support them if we could!

    808 was an amazing experience. This was my second time there and I decided to bring my whole family to treat them to a unique Omakase experience that was a great combination of casual but refined, interactive, and customized for my group. They were so attentive, inviting, and the chef was so knowledgeable and engaging. The food was so creative, delicious, and you can tell they put a lot of thought into their dishes. It was fun hearing how their head chef iterates on their dishes to get the best results. Normally, I only go to these types of restaurants once for the experience, but this is one I will continue to go back to and recommend to all.

    This was our first time at 808 Zone and we were thrilled to find such a gem in our own neighborhood. It is an expensive dining experience, but the quality, preparation and service make the price worth it to have that level of culinary expertise.
