London’s only entirely plantbased hotel restaurant serves a delectable vegan Afternoon Tea, as an alternative to the Great British tradition, which is sure to delight. With mouth-watering vegan interpretations of melt-in-your-mouth millefeuilles and seasonal cakes & pastries. All enjoyed not only by vegans, vegetarians but simply everyone. Within walking distance of Notting Hill, Portobello Market, Marble Arch and aside Hyde Park.

Menus are inspired by Chef Yumiko’s Italian & Japanese heritage focusing on seasonal, fresh and sustainable ingredients from farm to plate.

Café Forty One is also open for breakfast and brunch with the usual breakfast favourites.

Proudly alcohol-free serves fizz, mocktails, Seedlip gins, kombuchas and specialist teas.

Gluten free & other dietary choices tailored with 24 hours’ notice.

Restaurant opens onto a leafy garden terrace for al fresco dining.
Under 3 minute walk from Bayswater & Queensway underground, 1 stop from Paddington Station.

                                All in all, it was a nice afternoon tea experience and I wouldn’t dissuade someone from going. I found it only just a bit too pricey, but for London prices it was ok. Food was good, hotel/restaurant looked nice, staff also friendly.

                                Very good value for the price! Would definitely recommend it for a family that doesn't want to spend a large sum for an afternoon tea in the heart of London.

                                Nice place, elegant but small. You can say “intimate” if you go there with your partner”. Food was good but not mind blowing. Service very good. Too pricey. £39.90/each (£35+service) for an afternoon tea is too much. Price was clear when I made the reservation. My point is that it is not value for money.
