Join us in the Fairmont Olympic Lobby Lounge for Centennial Afternoon Tea, celebrating 100 years of timeless elegance. Enjoy tea Fridays from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm. Savor traditional favorites and iconic menu items spanning decades, including roasted NY strip sandwiches, lobster salad on endive, Oliver egg salad crostini, cucumber on sourdough, red velvet cake, chocolate tarts, and more. Each guest will receive a special keepsake gift to mark the occasion.

The experience is $79 per person or $45 for children 12 and under, featuring a special Little Kings and Queens Menu. Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options are available. Price excludes tax, gratuity, and valet parking. For parties of eight or more, please email Maya.Price@Fairmont.com.

Underwhelming. Let’s start with the fact that it is 100 year anniversary and yet there was trash under the armchairs we were seated at. The tea. I’m ok with a small selection of the tea, but no, a refill doesn’t mean just adding water to already brewed tea - you make it from scratch. The food: The scones these were the best out of the whole tray, but too sweet to be proper afternoon tea scones. Cucumber sandwiches - reusing nutmeg-forward chantili cream that was served in the amuse bouche as a base was a bad idea. The rest of the tray was too dry (due to being exposed to air) and unremarkable. The egg salad had potatoes in it which just didn’t compute… Last, the service - a group of people who could not care less about serving the people who were celebrating occasions all around them. Hard pass.

The experience at the Fairmont Olympic for Afternoon Tea was amazing. The teas were fabulous, the food was fresh and delicious and the seating areas were perfect for conversation, even though it was a little louder than expected, we would go back without hesitation. Highly recommend.

Afternoon tea at the Fairmont was a luxurious treat! I booked a reservation to celebrate my best friend’s birthday and it did not disappoint. We were seated at one of the cozy lobby sofas near the library and we had plenty of space. All the tea sandwiches, scones and desserts were very delicious and satisfying. They even accommodated my friend’s gluten-free dietary restriction, which you need to let them know at least 48 hours in advance. Our server was very friendly, attentive and professional and made a positive impression on us. She even brought out an extra plate of desserts with a candle to help us celebrate the occasion, making it extra special! Overall it was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend!

We loved our waiter. He was really attentive and informative. The food was quality. I enjoyed everything on our tiers- A first for high tea. My only two critiques would be to have a way to keep the tea pot hotter and to have more of a tea selection.

This was a wonderful high tea experience, as always. We were surprised to find that tea is no longer served in the Georgian room during the afternoon, but enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of the side room turned “library.” The music was a bit loud and we were glad not to have been sat in the lobby, but our server was an absolute delight and we had great time. The food was amazing.

Excellent food and service a big shout out to David who served us and went way beyond to ensure everything was perfect. You don’t find that very often anymore.
