There was a great selection of dishes on offer. We sought help from the waitress to get things that were to each persons taste and allowing for some food intolerances.
The lamb's tongues were soft and delicate and enjoyed by all. The bread is a real treat.
Different dishes meant we could share and taste a variety of foods. Some stews and some meats, and we liked them all.
Desserts were interesting. Again we tried a variety and the noodles with lemon and saffron was really refreshing. Saffron ice cream and a tolled pistachio pastry with honey enjoyed.
It was a small restaurant and the level of noise was great. A buzz but not overwhelming so we could talk and not be overheard even by close diners. An exciting and varied menu giving us the chance to try more on another occasion. We'd definitely go back (when that is possible).
