For an unforgettable evening on Hilton Head Island, head to Alfred's Restaurant for German and European cuisine by chef Heath Prosser and his team. Care has been taken to bring a wide wine selection from around the world-France, Italy, Spain, Australia, New Zealand, California, and of course Germany to pair with the menu. Nothing is overlooked to ensure the globally-inspired dishes at Alfred's Restaurant go beyond expectations. Along with many entrées from the land & sea, we also offer German selections, including sauerbraten, jaegerschnitzel, roasted duckling and the popular German mix platter. With indoor dining as well as our new covered and heated outdoor courtyard, you are sure to find the right seat in the house. Reservations highly recommended. Due to increased no show and last minute cancellation activity, you may be asked to provide a credit card when making your reservation. Charges will only be processed for no shows and last minute cancellations that cannot be re booked.

Cakebread wines - Fifty Years of crafting exceptional quality wines in the heart of Napa Valley and they are exploring other California areas as well such as North Coast and Anderson Valley. Bezel Wines by the Cakebread Family - Their winemaking mission is simple, though the resulting wines complex: Seek the best grapes from the West Coast’s finest vineyards and let that region’s personality shine through in each wine using the skill, precision and experience they’ve honed through 50 years of winemaking at Cakebread. Mullan Road Cellars - Interested in exploring new winemaking opportunities outside of Napa, Dennis Cakebread of Cakebread Cellars ventured north into Washington state in 2012 to forge a path into a whole new territory outside of California. And found a way to craft world class Cabernet Sauvignons from Washington.

The restaurant was serving a huge party and it was recommended that we eat outside on their covered, heated patio. Perfect move! Our dinner was delicious, intimate and still wonderfully served. Another favorite restaurant on Hilton Head Island!

Have been coming to Alfred's for many years. Food has been --and still is-- world class. IMO, best Resturant on Hilton Head and far beyond. Do try the scallops Florentine--save some bread to sponge up the sauce as it is that good. Potatoes pancakes are a must. Weinerscnitchel with fried egg is out of this world. These are my go to's but the entire menu is scrumptious. Kudos to Heath and Linda (and Jorge!)

Excellent! Delicious food all 4 of us were more than pleased with our food ! we had escargot to start and i had the potato crusted halibut It’s amazing My husband had the pork chop it was tender and fantastic. It’s a bit noisy in the small room so if you’re sensitive to noise you may want to sit outside or go later when it slows down . Otherwise it’s a first class dining experience!!

This small eatery is a hidden gem in Hilton Head. It is small but the experience is huge. This dining experience is sought out by many and some were making a reservation for later in the week as they finished their meal. We dined on authentic German food and a wonderful pork chop--two of our favorites. Halibut is also a frequent choice. Great wine list, staff that serve well and willingly give recommendations, and watching cooks as they prepare your meal. We visit every time we come to HHI.
