Classic steakhouse meals define the cuisine at Al’s: certified Angus beef, fresh fish, a variety of delicious appetizers and salads fill the menu. It’s perfectly complemented by classic cocktails, an extensive wine list, and uncompromising service.

Al’s is the first and only restaurant in Ottawa to cook its beef on live charcoal, giving steaks their distinctive signature taste. Al’s famous garlic salad dressing is included on a starter salad with most meals, and is bottled and sold in-house and in grocery stores throughout the city.
Open daily for lunch and dinner Al’s has ample free parking, can host over 100 diners in private events, and features a menu that will satisfy all tastes.

Hadn't been to Al's Steakhouse in years. Steaks were fantastic, the place was buzzing for a Sunday night in November creating a great atmosphere. Highly recommend the restaurant as a steakhouse alternative in Ottawa.

One of the top 5 steaks I have ever had, even compared to NY, DC, Toronto. Second time here and the same high quality steak and service. Like the smokey old fashioned. Wonderful attentive service. Five stars all around, and a deal compared to other places.

We recently visited Al’s Steakhouse for the first time and had a fantastic experience! Our server, Ashley, was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. She made us feel right at home and offered great recommendations. The food was delicious, and we can't wait to come back for another meal. Highly recommend this place!

Once again Al’s was great. The hostesses were quick to get me seated. My server came by quickly and took my drink order. The meal was great as usual. I even finished off with a delicious cheesecake. My favourite spot for a relaxing dinner out.
