A heartfelt farewell from Amara...

To our loyal supporters, and this Madison community we love so much - it is with a heavy heart that we must announce the closure of Amara. Following restaurant week, our last day in operation will be dinner service on July 27th.

Thank you for your interest in coming out to Amara for a farewell visit. We highly recommend making a reservation, to ensure we can accommodate your party at your preferred time. Reservations are available at our high tops and in the dining room, but are filling up quickly. 

We will be offering dinner service only, and significant discounts. Starting Monday 7/15, we will be offering 50% off all bottles of wine in addition to 25% off all cocktails from the Amara Bar Menu (while supplies last). We are so grateful to our staff, guests, and everyone who has supported us along this journey. It’s one we will miss.

    We enjoyed our Restaurant Week Dinner at Amara and thought the food was excellent. We think it is sad that they are closing at the end of the week.

    Although I’ve only been to this restaurant 3 times, I’ve greatly enjoyed the food and ambiance of the room. It’s like a beautiful greenhouse and I’ll be sad to see it go. Since this is their last week, it was a pleasure to dine here one last time. My boyfriend said he’d especially miss their mozzarella balls and cocktails!

    So sorry that Amara will close July 27 for good. This place was a gem! If you haven’t gone yet TRY to experience it. We will miss it. A truly unique, delicious and beautiful restaurant in a sea of average and repetitive choices.

    I'm going to miss this place and some of their amazing dishes -- especially the ricotta gnocchi, crab and avocado bruschetta, and angry shrimp spiedini. Sophia provided exceptional service for our dinner last night.
