    Generally unimpressive. Was still charged $11 per glass of wine even though the waitress told us the drinks were included in the $55/pp menu. The roasted lamb was so salty it was inevitable. It was all such a disappointment

    Always recommend Ambar for lunch—the Ambar Experience is a great choice, with a good variety. Today, the food was excellent and well presented. Service was great. Noise level was a bit high, but manageable.

    We went for Ambar’s $25 Restaurant Week lunch, but their everyday lunch - at $28 - is a 365-day outstanding bargain. You get unlimited number of dishes from a very long menu, and your appetite will be sated before your desire to order more is abated. The dishes may not be headline grabbing but they are all very good. There are goodies for vegetarians, pescatarians & meat lovers.

    As always, the food was great, but the service this time was pretty bad. We had one person at our table who has food allergies and the waitress was not accommodating at all. It took us talking to another waiter, who then brought out the allergen menu half way through our meal! They kept telling that person they were bringing out special food for her but then never told us which dishes were the allergy ones - they would just leave it randomly on the table. The whole experience was terrible for her so don’t recommend eating here if you have any allergies!!

    Service was excellent -- I was surprised how quickly food came out after ordering, for an AYCE. Food was very good.

    Music was a little too loud to talk, also the decorations from the ceiling would hit you harder n the head if you’re over 6 foot. The service was good but when asked what was recommended he mentioned the whole menu, I really would have liked to see him recommend things in courses like start with this then move on to this Etc.
