    The food and service provided by the Amilinda team lead by Chef Greg is outstanding. If you haven’t been there, you ate missing one of Milwaukee’s best!

    It's simply amazing in e ery way. At first look, I was like is this the right place from the outside it was not what I was expecting then once the door opened I was literally transported into a culinary experience that was A+ in every way. The decor.is.tastefully done with local artists' work hanging on the walls. The service is impeccable and attentive without being bothersome. And the food and wine were amazing! A must e perfect if you're considering!

    All was fantastic! Only compliant was out of their control - extremely cold night and it was chilly when patrons would enter and exit. The drape they put to cover the door helped a little and recognize this isn’t the norm.

    Cold and drafty, no flexibility with the menu. Sauce for my skirt steak was not good. Way over priced

    We always strive for our guests to leave happy, and it’s upsetting when we fall short. Our building is over 100 years old, and while we do our best to keep it comfortable, had you mentioned being cold, we would have gladly offered one of the many pashminas we keep for guests. As for menu "flexibility," expecting to swap components to create an entirely different dish is not just unreasonable—it’s disrespectful to our culinary team, who work tirelessly to craft balanced, thoughtful dishes. And to get upset and complain when you don't get your way gives off an air of entitlement. The sauce on your steak is one of our most popular, so perhaps your palate just doesn't understand our flavor profiles. And our prices are absolutely in line with every other well-respected Milwaukee restaurants.

    Only restaurant where we were actually asked to leave because they had guests waiting for the table. We were only there an hour and a half. They must overbook.

    I appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. I want to clarify that I was the one who personally spoke. to youAt Amilinda, we allot 1.5 Hr.s for tables of 2, and at the time I approached you it was close to 2 I want to emphasize that asking guests to vacate a table is never something we take lightly or enjoy doing, and we only do so when absolutely necessary. That night, I expressed my apologies multiple times and offered to cover your alcoholic beverages on your next visit. You and your dining companions were incredibly gracious about the situation and did not seem upset, which is why I am confused as to why this was not brought up directly to me in the moment if it was such a major concern We do not overbook and we do our best to balance the experience of all our guests

    So many people told us amazing things but our experience was not very good. The carrot soup was tasty, but they ran out of several entrees leaving us with the pork chop (somewhat bland and uninspired) and mushroom entree (very few if any mushrooms). Not sure I will be back.

    I’m sorry to hear your experience didn’t match the glowing recommendations you received. While I’m glad you enjoyed the carrot soup, I regret that we ran out of some entrées. We do our best to anticipate demand, but sometimes certain dishes sell out faster than expected As for the pork chop and mushroom dish, I appreciate your honest feedback and will review them with my team—we always strive to improve.
