All four of us felt The Angel was a great place to meet/eat. The food was delicious and the chap serving us was outstanding - attentive, friendly, professional and cheerful. We will definitely be visiting again. 😋😃

Fabulous lunch today. Hadn’t been in for a while as it wasn’t getting good feedback. But new management, team, layout and food was amazing. Will definitely be back again. The Angel is back to its excellent quality service.

We had a lovely meal, from the festive menu, we all enjoyed it. Very friendly staff, made to feel welcome.

First time we have ever been out for christmas day dinner. I love my dinner at home so was very on the fence about it. So food was great, the owners were very welcoming, friendly and attentive. The guys waiting on us were very hands on and worked very hard. Always on hand. Enjoyed ourselves and was very happy with our choice. Deborah and her parents went above and beyond. Deborah even added an addition to our table 3days before christmas day. Very impressed with the overall experience. Xxx Tracey Townsend

Such a lovely friendly place. The staff couldn’t be more helpful. We ate on Christmas Day so was very busy and one small criticism was the table was very small and we felt we were placed in a walk way. The food was very good. Will definitely return.

A really lovely meal, plenty of it and it was hot. Served with a smile and it was not too expensive. We had to move the date and they were very accommodating. We had a meal there over a year ago and it wasn't very nice. We tried it again as there are new owners and we will most definitely be back.

A lovely warm welcome from the bar staff, great knowledge of wine when asked a question, restaurant is comfortable and really decorated lovely for Christmas. We were not rushed when placing our orders, and food was delicious. Only couple of things to highlight, we ordered a curry but they had no mango chutney and ordered a dessert that came with coconut ice cream, but the ice cream had not been delivered. We will definitely be returning x
