Anima, meaning ‘soul' in Italian, speaks true to the dishes prepared, as a tastement of the emotionality of food and the importance of interaction with guests. It is for that reason that the kitchen is open-fronted and screened with ambered glass, so all can admire the chefs work. Anima opens to a charming courtyard for outdoor dining, a lush oasis with over 400 flourishing plants, climbing vines, teak benches, and Italian-style lanterns, evoking a Roman garden vibe. The menus at Anima showcase a blend of classics reinvented with a modern flair, drawing inspiration from Italy's celebrated array of fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients

Il menu includerà 6 piatti selezionati da Morgan insieme a 3 dessert ideati dalla nostra Pastry Chef, e i nostri iconici avocado toast e contorni. Prezzo 45€ 2 piatti a scelta, accompagnati da Bloody Mary o Mimosa illimitati. For every Sunday throughout January from the 12th, Anima will present an exclusive selection of vegan dishes in collaboration with Morgan Witkin. The menu will feature 6 dishes alongside 3 desserts designed by our Pastry Chef, and our signature avocado toast and side dishes.                                                   雰囲気よく、お料理も美味しかったです。何を食べても美味しかったですが、特にイカの前菜が食べたことがないほど絶品でした。お店のスタッフさんもお客さんも上品で、居心地の良いお店でした。

                                                  Had high expectations after reading the reviews on OpenTable however we were extremely disappointed in the food. We both ordered the lamb and two side dishes. Both side dishes were cold when they arrived and when we questioned the waiter, he asked us if we would like them warmed up which we said we would and they came back to the table barely warm.. the plate was cold so by the time we started eating the lamb was tepid and the sauces were cold on the plate so that wasn’t particularly pleasant either and then as we had the side dishes the roasted pumpkin and some courgette dish neither of us wanted to eat them because they just weren’t very nice. We also ordered the focaccia which was absolutely delicious. One of the nicest I have ever eaten and we didn’t have dessert because by the time we had finished our meal we really just wanted to leave so it was an extremely expensive meal for a very small amount of food and the restaurant was very quiet, only two or three tables but when we arrived and asked to move to a booth we were told we couldn’t even though they were empty for the duration of our meal.

                                                  We had an amazing evening at Anima. It was the celebration of our 40th Wedding Anniversary and the moment they knew this, they were even more amazing. We received a hand made card from the staff. All in all this was one of our most pleasant experiences in a good restaurant. The food was exceptional and they have a great wine list. If we ever get to Rome again, we will eat there. And stay in the beautiful Hotel it is attached to.
