    My food never came. I ate an appetizer. My husband’s came and I gave them the benefit of it being New Year’s Eve and the kitchen could have been backed up. The staff never checked on us so when they finally did we asked for the check and left. Pretty bad experience and average food. It’s too bad because this is a local go to for my family. It’s the first time I’ve come on a date with my husband on a “special occasion”. We probably won’t be back.

    Freshest Sushi I ever had in my life. We have been here at least 50 times. Super consistent and absolutely the best sushi hands down.! We go once a week at least and love it.! The staff is great also.! Plenty of parking too which is a Giant plus!!

    The food and service was excellent. The sushi nigiri, rolls and sashimi were nicely prepared and well sized! Wide variety of Japanese whiskeys and mixed drinks. Love the energy of this place, inside and out!

    Very busy on a Saturday night at 6 PM. We ordered the tempura for an appetizer, then we later ordered some sushi- the sushi came out long before the tempura. The Japanese cocktail was very different and probably not a repeat.

    The server was outstanding but the kitchen staff, not so much, appetizers were ordered and roughly 15 minutes later our main dish was ordered. Our main dishes came out before the apps and unfortunately, the food services presented my salad with a large extremely brown, and rooted lettuce heart right on top. Some of our orders never even made it to the table. As for the food, besides the Madori Salad, everything else was very good.

    I love this sushi restaurant, best in Danville, IMO. The sushi is excellent although I would like to see a few more roll options. They have a variety of options if you don’t eat sushi too. The hamachi appetizer we order on every visit. The cocktails are fantastic; they have an excellent menu and bartender. I enjoy the ambiance indoors and we mainly sit at the sushi bar. The patio seating is very nice too, especially in warm weather but the parking lot seating area really should be removed. You just don’t get the same experience sitting out there.
