Celebrated our sister's 70th birthday with a delicious lunch at Au Vieux Duluth. Great food ... great service ... great ambiance ! What more could you ask for. We will be back! Thank you.

We arrived 10 minutes early for our 7pm reservation. It was very busy. They finally seated us at an patio table with wicker chairs that were too low for the table. Before being seated i asked the hostess if she seriously expected us to take this table. Her response was yes that's all we have. We were celebrating our 29th Anniversary!! We indicated this on the reservation page..CELEBRATING ANNIVERSARY. It was very off putting, and actually ruined the night for me. My nephew as a result of my feelings spoke with the owner, Alex who completely understood stating.. we only sit people there that come in with no reservation!! They very quickly moved us to an acceptable table with real chairs. The rest of the evening was good, food was hot fresh and delightful. My issue with this experience would be, why in such a nice warm dining experience they would even have patio furniture on the floor? .
