Aura is a neighborhood restaurant that celebrates how food, drink, people, and atmosphere come together
Aura is inspired by the banks of the Mediterranean, the spirit of family, the crisp coolness of a just caught oyster, the vibrancy of farm fresh vegetables, and the spirit of, “il dolce far niente.”

Here at Aura, we pride ourselves on hospitality, with a focus on memorable moments, whether you’re coming in for a small bite and a glass of wine at the bar, an intimate dinner with friends, or a large celebration.

    Love the ambiance of the restaurant. The food was delicious, love the choices especially the Specials. Cocktails were delicious. Even though we had a reservation set for 8 pm, there was a bit of a wait but not too long. Overall I enjoyed it and yes I will definitely recommend Aura and return.

    Reservations? Pointless. Might as well be a walk in. I made a 7pm reservation for 4 and when I walked in the hostess told me “there’s multiple parties ahead of you you can feel free to have a drink at the bar”. Why would there be multiple parties ahead of me if I had a reservation???? I was seated at 7:50pm. At first they tried to seat us at a high top next to the bar. That is not a reservation table. Once we were finally seated we waited 20-25 minutes for our waitress to find us and wasn’t even poured water until they asked for our apps order. The staff all looked very confused as if they were selected off the street and thrown into the restaurant without being told how the restaurant runs. My steak came rare and I ordered it medium. When we ordered a second round of drinks we would wait at least 20 minutes and then have to inquire where the drinks were. I ordered for dessert a strawberry espresso martini which was very good by the way. But I had asked for baileys and was handed a drink that was not made with baileys. When I had told the waitress it was incorrect she responded “can you at least try it first”. That is not what I ordered and I should not be instructed to “at least try it” when I’m paying over $20 for a cocktail. Not only was the service subpar at best but I was seated an hour after my reservation and not once did they offer to comp anything. The food was good and this was my first time attending and was looking forward to it but unfortunately we will not be returning as I do not think it is acceptable to wait an hour to be seated when you have a reservation. When you go to a restaurant and pay $84 for a steak and over $25 for cocktails I would expect the service to be better.

    Reservation is a must! Great food, wine and very beautiful atmosphere, if you’re going for an intimate dinner, it can be a bit loud to hear across the table with the music. Would definitely go back and want to check out the brunch!

    1st time dining here but definitely not the last. Service was impeccable, the cocktails were great and the food outstanding. Fried oysters to start followed by the Halibut and my wife had the sweet potato gnocchi. There were so many things on the menu we look forward to trying.

    My family had such a great time here. This place is a vibe and we were here for it. The waitress was amazing very attentive the DJ was great! Food was great! That expresso Martini Tower !! Chef Kiss* we will definitely go back again!

    Seating for 9 was a little tight with 5 seats on one side and 4 on the other, but once a chair was placed at the head of the table, everyone was comfortable. Our server, Leo, was exceptional! The only critique I have is that the tables could be bussed more frequently so the dishes don't accumulate.

    Just one little complaint. We arrived 20 minutes before our 7:00 reservation so we could have drink at the bar. At 6:50 we were told (by the manager?) that our table was ready and to go sit but we just got our drinks. He said we could lose our table if we didn’t. We said no we will wait till 7:00. We sat at 6:59. The food was great. The drinks were great. The service (Lauren) was fantastic. It’s beautiful restaurant. Don’t rush people. It’s so off putting. I know it’s Saturday night but we had reservations.

    We enjoyed our delicious dinner from start to finish. Our server Lauren, was attentive and gave great suggestions. We cannot wait to come back!

    I love this place! Friendly hostesses, beautiful restaurant and great food. Lisa was our server and she was excellent. We split the spicy rigatoni as an appetizer and it was absolutely amazing. I had the salmon which was overcooked but still good. My partner had the chicken kabobs which is a must if you’re dining here. They are delicious. Drinks were on point and Lisa recommended a great cabernet. Shout out to Jess who was very funny. Overall a great local gem. Next time brunch.
