I had high hopes for this restaurant after making a reservation four months in advance, but the experience left much to be desired. We arrived at 7:15 PM for a 7:30 reservation but weren’t seated until 7:45. Despite our planning, the table seemed hastily put together—it was cramped, positioned next to the kitchen and a wall, and left half our party squeezing to get in and out.
The food, unfortunately, didn’t redeem the evening. At $30-$80 per plate, the quality was underwhelming and not worth the cost.
To make matters worse, the restaurant was filled with smoke, likely due to a malfunctioning kitchen hood. The overwhelming smell of garlic and pepper made it feel like we were being pepper-sprayed. The staff had to prop open a door near our table to ventilate the space, leaving us exposed to the chilly air, which was particularly uncomfortable for my 85-year-old grandmother.
The ambiance was another disappointment. The website suggests a relaxed, fine-dining atmosphere, but the reality was quite different. Loud, rowdy guests and music reminiscent of a nightclub clashed with any expectations of a refined dining experience.
Overall, this was an incredibly disappointing visit. For the price and anticipation, the experience was far below standard.
