One Off Hospitalityを手がけた受賞歴のあるチームによるワインバーのavecは、エグゼクティブシェフのPaul Kahan、Donnie Madia、.ワインスチュワードのEduard Seitanが提携して、2003年10月にオープンしました。地中海の伝統料理風の中西部料理、南フランス、イタリア、ポルトガル、スペインの海岸のワイン生産地域から影響を受けた料理が揃う素朴なメニューを提供しています。料理には地中海の香り、風味、色が反映させています。avecのお値打ちな料金のワインリストでは、南西ヨーロッパのブティックヴィンヤードに焦点を当てています。 avecはBlackbird、The Publican、The Violet Hour、Big Star、Publican Quality Meatsの姉妹レストランです。

    Our brunch was fabulous! The service was delightful. We sat at the counter and ordered 4 shared dishes. Our server suggested that it might be too much and we ended up ordering 3. It was the perfect amount for us and I appreciated the suggestion! I’m not sure many other restaurants would’ve provided the suggestion. The food and drinks were excellent- definitely recommend and definitely going back!

    Exceptional service, we had someone who was allergic to tree nuts and they gave us an additional avocado dip on the house. The chef came out personally to introduce the dish. We also had a complementary birthday scoop of ice cream. Didn’t feel rushed out of the restaurant. We had such a relaxing good time. Such a cozy wood box

    My first time going to Avec. I was surprised by its small footprint. I sat at the bar and had a great meal just with two appetisers. It was happy hour so drinks and some snacks were discounted. Enjoyable experience, would recommended it to anyone looking for an intimate environment and excellent Tapas.

    We visited Avec in the West Loop for brunch and enjoyed the cozy, intimate atmosphere. The space is charming and has a warm, inviting feel. The service was great—our server was attentive and friendly. We tried the stuffed dates, French toast, and pork belly, along with a mimosa. While the presentation was lovely and the ingredients seemed high quality, the flavors didn’t quite hit the mark for me personally. However, I can see why it’s a popular spot, and I’d definitely be open to trying it again for a different meal. Overall, Avec has a lot of charm, great service, and a unique menu that others might really enjoy!

    The restaurant couldn’t seat us right away due to a prior reservation running late. To make up for it they gave my whole party a glass of bubbles and bread, humus and dips to apologize. When we sat down we all ordered drinks and then shared great food with each other.
