    The staff and food were lovely. It was a busy Saturday evening and so attention to service and detail were lacking. We had been before and this was not up to usual standard. Perhaps less bookings to be taken if low staff numbers rather than lower service levels.

    Service extremely slow from the off set. Food came out before our drinks even arrived. When I mentioned this to the management he was very contravercial and argumentative. I have visited this restaurant on many occasions and have been delighted with everything. But on this occasion (my birthday) sadly it wasn’t accessible. Very disappointed.

    One of my favourite places to eat ,had a great booth table in the main dining room with more space so was far more comfortable and you can spread out a bit . Food was nice ,steak slightly under cooked . Good range of choice from the menu wish they had a wine jus sauce or beef dripping sauce for the steak as an extra choice . Service was excellent,attentive pleasant staff who did not rush us off the table ,time between courses and a good range of cocktails to try . A lovely night had by all.

    We booked a table for 5.30 to give us plenty of time to eat before show at arena at 7.30 - we were not seated until 5.50 and our food didn’t arrive until 6.35 - it meant we didn’t have time for dessert… but staff were excellent and food was delicious

    I booked our meal in November as a Christmas present for my husband. On the booking I booked for 3 people and said that we would be coming with our two year old daughter. When we turned up (myself, husband and 2 year old) we were told that she would find somewhere to ‘squeeze us in’ as we might need a high chair. If we had walked in there and then and asked for a table I wouldn’t have minded being ‘squeezed in’ but we booked a while ago, I booked for my daughter and even had the decency to say that we were bringing said child. We were shown to a very small imperial table with a high chair stuck on the end. A two person table with three plates, drinks etc was not adequate. At this point I felt quite annoyed. The vocab used ‘squeezing us in’ left me feeling like well weren’t welcome. However, our server, Victoria, came over and when we asked for more space she immediately added another table alongside ours and our daughter sat at a chair for the duration of the meal. Victoria and the other members of staff (aside from the colleague at the front door) were absolutely fantastic. They were smiley and chatty and very engaging, especially with our two year old. The food was fantastic and the ribs were a very pleasant surprise for a starter! What a fantastic meal and Victoria is to be commended as she was attentive and just fantastic.

    Food was excellent and the restaurant although not that busy had a great atmosphere. Service was a little slow and we had to ask where drinks were a couple of times.
