Named one of the nation's top cocktail bars by TimeOut and The Australian; Canberra's Favourite Middle Eastern Restaurant (2021, 22, 23 & 24); and winner of Best Cocktail Lounge and Small Bar (2022, 23 & 24), indulge in daring dishes, top-self cocktails, eclectic beats, and captivating belly dance and burlesque performances.

Nine-to-fivers, local poppers-in, out-of-towners, clocked-off hospo workers, and anyone who knows a good cocktail and bite to eat is knocking on the door from 6pm ‘til late. The vibe is charged with electricity, laughter, and love; everyone is here for the fun.

                                              We have been here many times and Bar Beirut is like no other place in Canberra the atmosphere is electric during the sword belly dancing and exotic performances by Jazida Burlesque. It is definitely not for the fainthearted with exceptional shows of fire dancing paired with amazing authentic lebanese food with a very wide range of reasonably priced proffessionally made cocktails. The owner and host is amazingly and true master of hospitality he loves attending to his guests and will make you feel welcome. The service and hospitality from the staff is nothing short of exceptional, knowledgable and attentive to your needs. If you want a truely memorable experience book a night of intrigue and adventure at Bar Beirut Canberra !

                                              We opted for the fixed menu selection at $69 pp each for the 3 of us. This was way too much food for us - but the food was excellent, tasty and a great selection of Lebonese/middle eastern flavours - we would order less next time. It was a great way to taste an array of great flavours though, and as a first time visitor, I would recommend. Wines/beers and cocktails were also great new taste experiences. It is definitely a great cocktail bar if you wanted a share menu with drinks. We are an older trio and found the noise level high, but that's just us, and not a deal breaker. Would we go again - Yes.

                                              We celebrated our anniversary at this restaurant and it was the best decision we could have made. Ambiance was warm and inviting, staff was incredibly attentive, and the food was simply outstanding. Special mention goes to the dance performer, who added a magical touch to the evening and truly enhanced the atmosphere, huge respect to her! This is by far the best place for food in Canberra. Highly recommend
